Accessibility
A primary goal in designing this site was to create a site that was as universally accessible to as many people as possible. In other words, a website where content is available across all operating systems, all browsers, and all devices.
It is fairly accessible to people who rely on assistive technologies, such as those visually impaired people who use "screen reader" technology. It has also been designed so users may freely resize the text displayed on the screen. For more information on the law of accessibility in Canada as it relates to websites please read Website Accessibility for the Disabled: The Law in Canada.
This site conforms to conformance level Triple-A of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0, including all Priority 1, Priority 2, and Priority 3 checkpoints defined in the Guidelines. The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 explain how to make Web content accessible to people with disabilities. Conformance to these Guidelines will help make the Web more accessible to users with disabilities and will benefit all users.
All Pages Are Printer Friendly
This site displays on a computer screen differently than when
it is printed. This site makes printer friendly changes automatically.
You may view this difference without having to actually print by viewing
this page in your browser's print preview mode. Some printer
friendly changes are: the use of a serif font, the removal of most
graphics, the removal of navigation links, the underlining of hyperlinks,
and margin formatting specific to paper.
Spam Prevention
Our email addresses are not disclosed on the site. We do
this in an effort to avoid spam. Spammers collect e-mail addresses using programs that
search the internet for e-mail addresses to add to their lists.
If
you are not a client of the firm, and you wish to send someone at the law
firm an email message, we ask that you use one of our communication forms.
